Kosovo - On the eastern boundary of Kosovo, a father, having been detained by the Serbian authorities for the past fourteen months, is reunited with his son. The International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) on a regular basis organizes these releases and provides the much needed support that a returnee needs.
The problems of returning can sometimes be overwhelming. The discovery that a family member has been killed, that their home or village lay in ruins or simply, just adapting to everyday life, can sometimes take years to come to terms with.
